Lean for Life works and it is Easy

I want everyone out there reading this right that wants to make a change in their fitness and health to

stop and pick up the phone, Call Sandra right now.

Prior to meeting Sandra I was working out 5-6 times a week with no results I was frustrated and posted

a question on Face book: Anyone know a really good personal trainer? I got a lot of responses but

one stood out. I know one Sandra Froher the fitness guru. I checked out Musclelines.com and was so

inspired and intrigued by how professional Sandra was. The next day I called Sandra .We met a week

later for a free consult she showed me her awesome gym, we talked about my lifestyle, current weeks out regime, nutrition and goals. When I left that day I knew my life was going to change.

The first session we discussed nutrition I learned so much from that day it was helpful to have the

notes she gave me to take home and review .It was a new way of eating for me. I wasn’t seeing results

because my thoughts on nutrition and eating were totally off. Sandra has shown me how to be lean for

life it’s not a diet it is a way of life it is super easy and I did not feel hungry or deprived I have so much

energy now she has shown be how to kick start my metabolism and how to keep it burning all day.

I love working and meeting with Sandra weekly she sets up a routine and changes them up as necessary.

She showed me how to weight train showing me the correct positions and explained how to work

different muscle groups effectively. During our sessions we talk about fitness /nutrition she really helps

coach you through the tough phases. In 2 months I lost 17 pounds and 24 inches.

I know I can count on Sandra to give me that boost I need. She is truly an amazing and inspiring personal trainer and person. She would be the first person I would recommend to anyone looking on improving their health and fitness that wants fast easy results if you can do the work and stick to the lean for life program.

I have seen huge results and I actually like the way I Look and feel I am even thinking about competing in a fitness show who knows the sky is the limit.

Dear Sandra Froher December 2011

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the incredible changes you have helped me make in my life. Several months ago, I was at a pretty low point from a physical perspective. I was an ex-athlete who had spent too much time working at a desk, eating donuts and believing my body would take care of it’s self. I was the heaviest I had ever been, was noticing severe drop in my energy levels and a rise in injuries. I wasn’t as motivated at work, was less patient with my two year old child and not as helpful around the house. Something had to change and so I called Sandra Froher at Muscle Lines.

From our first meeting, Sandra inspired me with confidence. Your knowledge of nutrition and fitness was obvious, but your absolute conviction that I could make the necessary changes was amazing. Sandra changed the way I ate, the way I exercised and even how I was looking at myself. We have been working together for three months and the changes have been amazing. I am fitter than I have been since I was competing as an athlete. I am leaner, stronger, feel better about myself, am doing a better job at work, and best of all, I know that I’m being a better husband and father. My family has even reaped the benefits of our new “Lean for Life” nutrition philosophy. Previously, our little girl loved eating junk food for snacks.. now she reaches for carrots and apples. I am so glad I made the decision to call Sandra that sunny July day.  I can`t believe how much my life and body have changed since training with her.  I have never been “overweight”  but after almost 10 years of marriage I noticed I had snuck on an extra 20 pounds.  Those 2 little pounds per year for 10 years were there to stay unless I did something about it… Enter Sandra Froher and her  “Lean for Life” program, she helped me take them all off and more in just 9 months!   During that time I vacationed for 5+ weeks in France and California and struggled to keep on track.  Oh the wine was so good!

Finally I broke through my bad habits and now enjoy practicing good habits, creating balance with food and exercise.  After reaching my original goal I now have new goals to push myself to the next phase of being fit.  The tools that Sandra has taught me are lifelong skills that I put into play almost every day.  Sandra is a wealth of knowledge and experience and I continue to learn with her twice a week.

Dear Sandra,

It is with the greatest pleasure that I write you this testimonial.  I am a typically over-committed businesswoman, working 12 to 14 hour days regularly.  I am also 54 years old, and middle-age spread had spread to my waste line!  What to do?  I don’t have time for exercises, I barely have time to walk the dog…….

I visited Sandra and heard about her Lean for Life programme. Our first appointment all we did was talk: about my goals (lose 10 lbs and get rid of that tummy), and Sandra educated me on the workings of my metabolism.  Thanks to Sandra’s advice on how to structure my eating throughout the day, incrementally eliminating certain unhealthy things, incrementally increasing the healthy things, I feel that without any inconvenience I managed to lose that weight in 3 months, and I felt so good I started putting exercise at the top of my agenda, not last, as was my old way of doing things.

Then I went on holidays for 7 weeks: that’s 7 weeks of restaurant food, and 7 weeks of not having a predictable routine.  Lo and behold, because of Sandra’s commonsense approach (the 80/20 rule) and her exhortation for ‘mindful eating’, I only gained 2 lbs but still lost 1/2 inch over the course of my holiday.  This was the first holiday in my entire life where I felt so comfortable in my bathing suit, I even bought a form-fitting dress and had my old clothes altered.  I feel great, I feel sexy, I feel so positive and full of energy!

So, there you have my story: I have realized that even if I enjoy something that is not really good for me, I can stay on track by adjusting my lifestyle that same afternoon, or the next morning. All is not lost.  Thanks to Lean for Life and Sandra Froher I have embarked on a new phase for the rest of my life: healthy, happy, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Feel My Muscles

Dear Sandra,

The dressing room at a department store sealed the deal. I decided I was going to fit the clothing, not have the clothing fit me.

I had had an athlete’s body most of my life, except for the last twelve years, which is actually about a third of my life.  So the first lie revealed is that I’ve only had an athlete’s body for about sixty percent of my life. Being truthful, I’ve discovered, is a key ingredient in becoming lean for life.

I had always been involved with sports or other activities that kept me in top shape, but twelve years ago, I changed my lifestyle which saw me sitting at a desk five days a week. My new exercise routine was a repeat of walking and yoga. Those two activities helped me maintain weight and flexibility, but were not strategic in increasing body muscle.

My initial goal was to increase overall strength and tone. The program I chose included twelve personal sessions over twelve weeks. At the first session, Sandra measured and weighed me like a scientist, gave me a personalized exercise plan, and a chart to record my daily food intake so she could understand my body type, and operational and fuel performance.

Once a week I’d meet with Sandra. She showed me the correct postures to lift weights, mixed the style of exercises with ball and mat work, and knew when it was time to increase the intensity. Attacking the muscles from all angles (I’ve learned) helps sculpt the muscles with even distribution. This made a lot of sense to me, since my experience kayaking had given me muscled arms that took four years to shrink. To have big arms with a little body is not elegant-looking in a strapless gown.

The first four weeks was a psychological battleground. I did things I normally wouldn’t do (like eat three chocolate bars in one sitting), but I dutifully wrote it all down. As instructed, I bought transportable equipment (body ball and Bosu ball), plus some dumbbells to use at home. Sandra also gave me special exercises I could do while away on vacation, so I didn’t lose momentum.

The results were a huge success. I didn’t really notice a change until the tenth week. But on the eleventh week, the transformation seemingly happened overnight. I’ve trimmed 10 inches from my overall frame and can be overheard asking people if they want to, “feel my muscles.”

I’ve now signed up for another 12 session over 6 weeks to continue to sculpt my body. I’m excited to learn more about food combinations, protein, and how to optimize fat burning fuel.

The science of sculpting the body you want is possible when you have the right guidance from a fitness expert like Sandra Froher. I’m learning how to be healthy and Lean for Life.

Helping a harden, cynical, nonbeliever, lose some weight

I would like to endorse the services of Sandra Froher of Muscle Lines.

I began my personalized workouts on January 15 2009 with very little expectations of losing weight or ever getting into shape. As a matter of fact, Sandra had far more confidence in me than I had in myself.

I am happy to report that after working for 6 months I have lost 11 lbs and 14 inches. This is a small feat as on my first appointment with Sandra, I made it clear – I can’t lose weight, I don’t believe in diet’s and I dislike working out. Sandra never let that discourage her and took me on as a real case.

This has had a remarkable effect on my stress levels,sleeping habit’s,and I am happy to report I am an officially a WHOPPER. This is my word for a person who now prefers to walk to shop, rather than take the car (or the tube in London).

My name is Desiree when I met Sandra my health & fitness had been long forgotten about & put on the back burner. I had given up on any hope of getting back on track. I had begun to try and except myself the way I was. Five years prior I was 70 pounds lighter & the passing of my Grampa had effected me on many levels.

When I first met with Sandra my expectation was “not to lose weight” as I believed that it wasn’t possible. I was only looking to tone my muscles lol…

I began training the following week in January with light cardio and weight training. Sandra also recommended I start to clean up my lifestyle with a few changes. First change was to take out the white carbohydrates then take my sugar load down eating as natural as possible.

By May I was surprised to see after my reassessment that I had lost 20 pounds and started to feel different. I couldn’t believe what minimal effort’s could do, and began to be curious with the thought of “what if I followed the program to the letter of the law? What would happen then? With a new found belief that Sandra’s programs really work I decide to recommit to surrender to all of the program with out question. I began in June to really focus on my daily & weekly goals that where set out to produce results.

At this time Sandra was getting ready to compete in Ms Physique contest and had encouraged me to come and watch. As I am sitting in the audience watching still very far away from my original health goal, never mind contest stage condition I get this feeling of strong belief, that I could possibly have a total transformation beyond believe if I chose to follow Sandra’s guidance.

So I decided to share this thought with Sandra as crazy as it seemed she seemed to believe and want the best for me. Despite the seemingly unrealistic goal of contest shape I took the idea to Sandra that day. After I shared my vision Sandra look at me and said “Let’s get started”

All the past things I had learned to be true for health and fitness where all about to change and my commitment was to be much more demanding if I was to in fact realize my new found goal. My new stage ready program was going to require every last bit of discipline physically & mentally if I was to achieve this crazy dream. As the month’s went by the impossible started to seem more obtainable. Physically my body was rapidly changing but is was evident that new type of work was needed mentally to prepare for the un veiling of my new body.

The list of things to learn out side of working ou and feeding myself properly felt like a daunting task. We began working on things like what category would be suited. Here is the list

  • suit selection – swim suit
  • costume design – sport’s wear theme
  • evening wear & glamours look
  • hair and make up for all three different looks
  • skin colour
  • posing practice & walking style on stage
  • Then working on finding the confidence to pull this off.

It’s now April and realize that if I hadn’t made this new goal of stage ready I would have reach my health & fitness goal. W I was now living in a much healthier and beautiful body .everything was about to change again. If I wanted to go from average fit girl now

Now that my goal is to get stage ready and look and feel better than average. I now realize that the rest of Sandra’s team is beginning there intense programs for the stage as well and I am right along with them. Everything was well calculated and the intensity now was all out.

The next few months had proven to be difficult as I realize my mind hadn’t caught up to my new body.
So with more mental work Sandra prepares me for my final UN veiling on stage.
She keep me focussed and supported me with confidence that I in fact deserved to be there amongest the rest. What a life changing experience !!!!!!!
